These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by the Service Provider and form the basis of the contract between the Service Provider and the Parent/Guardian.
If you have any questions, please contact us before booking.
1. Definitions
Provider / Service Provider: Compton Ross Graham E.V.
Customer / Participant: Any person booking or attending services
Consumer: Natural person acting outside business activity

Service: Forest school sessions and camp programmes
Contract: Agreement formed upon booking confirmation or payment
2. Booking, payment and cancellations (general weekly sessions)
2.1 Booking and Payment
Bookings for weekly sessions must be made via https://www.erdokor.hu.
Payment methods:
- Online card payment via WooCommerce
- Cash payment where selected at booking
Payment is due at booking (card) or at session start (cash).
A booking is confirmed once processed through the booking system.
Prices are listed in HUF. The Provider operates under small taxpayer VAT exemption.
2.2 Cancellations and Changes (Weekly Sessions)
Weekly sessions may be rescheduled if at least 3 days’ notice is given, subject to availability.
No refund is provided for non-attendance without prior notice.
All changes must be requested in writing to hello@erdokor.hu.
2.3 Cancellations by the Provider (Weekly Sessions)
The Provider may cancel or reschedule a session due to weather, staff illness, or unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, participants will receive:
- a full refund, or
- an alternative date offered by the Provider
The Provider is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by participants.
2.4 Statutory Withdrawal Right
In accordance with Hungarian law (Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.) §29 (1) l), the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to leisure services provided on a specific date.
2.5 Communication of Cancellations
All cancellation or change requests must be sent to hello@erdokor.hu and are only valid once confirmed by the Provider.
2a. Summer camp booking and cancellation policy
2a.1 Scope and Priority
This section applies exclusively to multi-day summer camp programmes.
In the event of any conflict between this section and the General Terms, this Camp Policy prevails.
2a.2 Camp Booking and Payment
Camp places are confirmed only upon full payment.
Due to limited capacity and advance planning requirements, camp bookings are governed strictly by this section.
2a.3 Cancellation by the Participant
Refund policy:
- 100% refund until 24 May
- 50% refund from 25 May to 7 June (inclusive)
- No refund after 7 June
Transfers to alternative camp dates are not available.
Transfers to another child may be permitted at the discretion of the Provider.
2a.4 Cancellation by the Provider
If the camp does not reach minimum numbers, a full refund will be issued.
If the Provider cancels a camp due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive:
- a full refund, or
- an alternative camp or equivalent programme offered by the Provider
2a.5 Illness and Health
Participants showing signs of contagious illness may not attend.
If illness occurs during camp, the participant may be required to be collected immediately.
Return requires medical clearance confirming the participant is no longer contagious.
No refunds are issued for missed days due to illness.
2a.6 Insurance and Medical Information
Parents/guardians must provide relevant medical and allergy information during registration.
Where applicable, parents/guardians must confirm the child has valid health insurance in Hungary (TAJ, EHIC, or private insurance).
2a.7 Food Provision
The Provider supplies a daily lunch and two snacks.
All dietary requirements and allergies must be disclosed at registration.
The Provider cannot guarantee safe participation without full disclosure.
2a.8 Drop-off and Collection
Parents/guardians are responsible for timely drop-off and collection.
Responsibility transfers to the Provider once there has been an in-person handover at the official start time and ends at collection.
Late collection may incur additional supervision fees.
2a.9 Weather and Outdoor Operation
The camp operates outdoors in a range of weather conditions.
Activities are adapted according to conditions to ensure continuity and safety.
Short periods of poor weather do not constitute cancellation.
2a.10 Severe Weather and Indoor Relocation
In cases of prolonged severe weather, the camp may be relocated to an appropriate indoor space with continued access to outdoor activities where possible.
No refund is issued in this instance.
2a.11 Tools, Fire, and Activities
Certain activities may include supervised use of age-appropriate tools, knives, and fire-lighting equipment.
These activities are part of the educational programme and are always supervised.
Participation is subject to instructor assessment of readiness, behaviour, and safety awareness.
Instructors may restrict participation in specific activities where appropriate. This does not entitle the parent/guardian to a refund.
2a.12 Behaviour and Safeguarding
Participants must follow safety instructions and behave respectfully.
Bullying, harassment or dangerous behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the camp without refund.
2a.13 Physical and Emotional Readiness
Parents/guardians confirm that their child is physically and emotionally able to participate in full-day structured outdoor activities.
The Provider is not responsible for issues arising from undisclosed needs or circumstances.
2a.14 Photography and Media
Photographs may be taken for educational and promotional purposes.
Consent is collected during registration.
2a.15 Schedule Changes
The Provider may modify the camp schedule or structure due to weather, safety, or operational needs.
This does not constitute cancellation.
2a.16 Outdoor Environment Acknowledgement
The camp takes place in a natural forest environment with uneven terrain, vegetation, insects, mud, and other natural conditions.
Parents/guardians accept these managed environmental conditions.
3. Participant responsibilities, safety and liabilities
3.1 Participant Information
Parents/guardians must provide accurate emergency contact and relevant medical information.
In emergencies, the Provider may seek appropriate medical assistance.
3.2 Behaviour and Conduct
Participants must follow safety instructions and behave respectfully.
Dangerous, disruptive, or abusive behaviour may result in removal without refund.
3.3 Health, Safety, and Supervision
All activities are risk-assessed and supervised by trained staff.
Participants are expected to follow all instructions.
3.4 Liability
The Provider is not responsible for:
- loss or damage to personal belongings
- injuries resulting from failure to follow instructions
- environmental or weather conditions
This limitation applies to all services, including camp programmes.
3.5 Force Majeure
The Provider is not liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control.
4. Data protection and privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR (EU 2016/679) and Hungarian Act CXII of 2011.
Data is used only for service delivery, safety, and communication.

5. Complaints and dispute resolution
Complaints should be sent to hello@erdokor.hu.
If unresolved, consumers may contact:
- Hungarian Consumer Protection Authority
- Budapest Conciliation Board
- EU Online Dispute Resolution platform
6. Intellectual property
All content, materials and media are the property of Erdőkör Forest School / Compton Ross Graham e.v.
No reproduction or distribution without written consent.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary.
Disputes fall under Hungarian court jurisdiction.
8. Acceptance of terms
By booking or attending, the Participant confirms acceptance of these Terms and Privacy Policy.
